NJ community college signs transfer agreement with Embry-Riddle

Bergen Community College in Paramus, N.J., and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have signed an agreement that will enable Bergen students to transfer more easily to ERAU.

Bergen students who earn an associate of science in professional studies (aviation administration option) or natural sciences (aircraft operations option) can transfer into ERAU’s bachelor of science in aviation business administration program. ERAU agreed to accept at least 64 credits from Bergen; students will have to complete 54 additional credits to earn a bachelor’s degree. Bergen maintains more than 40 articulation agreements with four-year schools.

The school’s aviation program launched in 2012 with the opening of its Emil Buehler Trust Aviation Center. Courses include introduction to aeronautics and aviation safety.
